2020 standard mileage rates have been announced by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Beginning on January 1, 2020, the standard mileage rates for the use of a car, van, pickup or panel truck will be:
Business mileage- 57.5 cents per mile (down from 58 cents per mile in 2019)
Medical/Moving- 17 cents per mile (down from 20 cents per mile in 2019)
Charitable remains at 14 cents (set by statute not subject to annual adjustment)
